With an RTX 3050, which is really just a step above Intel’s current integrated graphics offerings, the perfect buyer is harder to pinpoint. Someone who really wants to play League of Legends on a giant screen but not really any modern games? Folks with some kind of GPU load at work (but not a heavy one) who need to carry their laptop to and from the office and don’t have access to an external monitor? I don’t know, maybe those are the two groups.

The LG Gram 17 Pro (2023) is a powerful ultraportable with decent battery life that remains deceptively light despite packing a discrete Nvidia GPU. While some competitors outpace it, it's hard to beat this svelte black 17-incher's blend of performance and portability.

The machine is a lightweight ultraportable with strong battery life and a powerful Nvidia GPU. Its full keyboard and large display make it comfortable for work and browsing, while the 144Hz display is great for movies and gaming. However, its short power cable and underwhelming performance compared to similar-sized competitors are drawbacks.
